Project Description:
Our newest UK partner, D24Media, contacted us for help with this project for the new website of CAFM Explorer software. According to specifications provided by the client we have created a web application that integrates with their existing website based on the WordPress platform, and which allows visitors and customers to watch a series of videos presenting the company and the software. Several advanced features were included, including cookie-based authentication, AJAX powered forms with a database backend, as well as a “Tweet this video” option.
We are now moving into a new phase of development of a fully-fledged video tutorials platform for users of the CAFM Explorer software.
Client Information:
FMx Ltd is a software house that develops and supports a Facilities Management product called “CAFM Explorer”. FMx are the authors and owners of the Intellectual property rights for CAFM Explorer as well as owning the UK trademark for CAFM.
The Company started trading in 1999 through the acquisition of Decision Graphics UK Ltd (an FM software house established in 1984) and have shown a consistent year on year growth in profits of over 30% per annum. The Company operates from its purpose built UK HQ at Westfield House in Crawley and now employs over 40 staff.
